Ich habe ein paar Ansätzt, fall die jemand ergänzen oder korrigieren könnte.......

Okay... schauen wir mal - meine Version (nach Beratung mit einer kanadischen Freundin^^ Das ist echt teilweise schwer zu verstehen. Ausbesserungen in kursiv)

Vielleicht kann mir auch jemand helfen bei Lied 4. "I'll be there" und 12 "All this time". Mir fehlen nur Kleinigkeiten, vielleicht versteht's ja jemand (hab jetzt nur die relevanten Passagen reinkopiert):

12 ist wirklich nur eine Kleinigkeit

In the harbor quarter, in the - an dieser Stelle versteh' ich immer spektakulären Blödsinn, nämlich "In the stone and modder" Was es wirklich heißt - sorry. Kein Plan.

Das ist auch exakt das, was ich auch verstehe, nur macht es wirklich null Sinn. Vielleicht ist das irgendwas hafenspezifisches? Oder ein Lokal, etc, was im Stück vorkommt? Aber dank Dir!

Ich hab' einem Bekannten das Lied zum testhören gegeben - weil es mich WAHNSINNIG macht *gg* - und er versteht "in the stormy water" oder "in the storm and water".

Hmm- nöö. Das heißt definitiv was mit "stone and ?" - ach, das macht mich ganz wahnsinnig, wenn es keine Lyrics gibt!!! Vor allem Brandi Burkhardt ist schon teilweise echt eine Herausforderung. "When the world was mine" - Gibt's eigentlich noch mehr Leute, die an den Lyrics Interesse haben, vielleicht könnte man sich ja zusammentun?

MAn ist das cool!!!!
Leider kenn ich die stücke überhaupt nicht, aber ich find texte merken und raushören und ergänzen immer toll!!!!

*gg* - nur leider scheintst Du im Forum (neben Tish) die Einzige zu sein..

Werde das wohl noch ändern

Hab gestern die CD "The Count of Monte Christo" bekommen, und ich muss es so deutlich sagen: Supermegaoberhammergeil, ich hatte beim Hören richtig Herzklopfen!!!!!!! Thomas Borchert at his best! Und auch die anderen Darsteller genial, man merkt, wie sie sich total ins Zeug legen. Interessanterweise finde ich Pia Douwes' Lied auf dieser CD das schwächste.

Ausnahmslos alle Lieder gefallen mir total gut, meine Lieblingslieder sind:

A story told (supergeniales Schurkenstück: We are friends, are we not? Und dann diese Lache, klasse!)
Every day a little death (*heul* Da will ich den armen Edmond mal so richtig knuddeln)

Ich freu mich sooooooooooooooooooooo sehr auf die deutsche Version! Bis dahin hör ich die hier rauf und runter.

Hat jemand die Lyrics von "Hell to your doorstep" oder zufällig gerade Muße, mir beim Text zu helfen? Ich versteh die fehlenden Teile ums Verrecken nicht.

*gg* Und ich hatte endlich auf Erleuchtung gehofft, als ich hier einen neuen Beitrag gesehen hab. ^^ Aber ich freu mich, dass dir die CD auch gefällt, würd das Musical soooooo gerne sehen. Und vielleicht schaffen wir es ja gemeinsam, die Texte zu entschlüsseln. ^^

Wurde denn jetz shcon was in Erfahrung gebracht, was die deutsche Aufnahme des Musicals angeht? ich habe jetzt schon auf einigen Interentseiten gelesen, das eine CD in Planung ist, aber es stand nirgendwo, für wann sie geplant ist.

Tja eine wirklich gute Frage ist das... das interessiert mich auch und darum "nerve" ich das Theater St.G. in unregelmäßigen Abständen mit dieser Frage.

Bis jetzt gibt´s dazu null offizielle Aussage, ob es die überhaupt geben wird. Im Theater selbst haben sie davon noch nichts gehört.

Ich stell mir das ja auch echt schwierig vor, dazu müsste man die gesamte Cast, die ohnehin ab jetzt nur noch tageweise in St.G. zusammen ist, für mehrere Tage ins Studio kriegen und das Orchester auch noch dazu...
Die Chance wäre während der siebenwöchigen Proben damals supergut gewesen.... aber jetzt?

Ich würd das ja soooo geil finden... und wenn sie denn schon mal dabei sind, können sie gleich ´ne feine Gesamtaufnahme zusammenschustern , und nicht erst was Highlights oder Bestof oder sowas anfangen...

Ich hab die Seite auf der ichd as gelesen habe leider nicht mehr gefunden...hab jetz über ne stunde danach gesucht. Sobald ich sie wieder gefunden habe verlinke ich sie gerne hier!
